Last month, the Banking Transformation Summit became the focal point for the latest in financial innovation, and Kerv was right at the heart of it. Our stand, a beacon of purple amidst a sea of noise, captured the attention of attendees with its prime location—centrally placed and adjacent to the demo area and evening drinks!
Our round-up of the multi-day event
The summit was an opportunity to showcase how tools like Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Copilot AI are reshaping customer service. We hope you caught the live demo ran by John O’Dell or heard Stephen McNamara from Skipton Building Society deliver his insightful keynote on transforming financial services delivery. Our giveaways, including eye-catching cookies and a golf challenge, were a hit, drawing people in for a chance to win and enjoy. The stand beers were especially popular, offering a refreshing alternative to the nearby bar!
Let’s Talk Digital Transformation
AI took centre stage as we delved in with lots of AI dominated conversations, with many expressing a mix of curiosity and apprehension, signalling that most are at the early stages of their AI journey. The broader goal? To achieve cost savings, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer experiences.
Over 2 days of the summit, we ran multiple sessions from Kerv and our partners, Skipton Building Society that were the talk of the town!
Live Demo: A Glimpse into the Future
Our live demo highlighted how Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Copilot AI can create a unified customer view and an AI-powered agent experience.
John O’Dell led a lively discussion on pragmatic ways to leverage data and AI, the benefits of a modern Data Platform, and the integration of communication channels into customer service systems. The enthusiasm was palpable, with many attendees eager to learn more post-demo.
The Roundtable Recap
Despite the challenge of noise at the event, it was wonderful to get some great engagement at our masterclass roundtable, led by Rufus Grig, Paul Cox and Will Dorrington, attracting significant figures in the industry. It was clear that AI is a journey just beginning for many.
The Gen AI masterclass was a resounding success, with standing room only! The discussion delved into the opportunities and risks of Gen AI at the customer interface in a regulated industry.
We explored ‘agent assistive’ technology as a lower-risk, pragmatic approach that still offers significant benefits. This includes context-sensitive prompts, administrative assistance, content summary and categorisation, plus process automation.
Keynote Highlights: Embracing Change with Skipton Building Society
We were thrilled with the turnout for Skipton Building Society’s keynote on the necessity of cultural and operational shifts to keep pace with neo banks. Stephen McNamara’s talk on Skipton’s digital-first strategy, the importance of starting with ‘yes’, and finding the balance between regulation, culture, and innovation was truly inspiring. As partners in Skipton’s transformation journey, we’re eager to share our experiences and insights with you.
A Big Thank You to Our Visitors
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited our vibrant booth—the one with the piggy banks that you couldn’t miss! For those who didn’t snag one of our coveted pigs, don’t fret; they’ll be back at our next event so keep your eyes out.
