Celebrating Customer Service Week at Kerv!

At Kerv, we know that exceptional customer service isn’t just a job—it’s the heart of what we do! This year, we went all out, dedicating an entire week to celebrating our passion for creating amazing customer experiences. Here’s a peek into the fun, insightful, and inspiring events of our Customer Service Week!

Monday: Kick-off with Enhancing Customer Communication 🚀

We launched the week with a powerful session on “Enhancing Customer Communication,” led Katrina King, Chloe Black, and Lisa Mansell. They covered the building blocks of customer experience (CX)—from understanding our customers to mastering the art of active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving.

Not only did we learn a ton, but team members also shared tips, tricks, and even a few of their own “war stories” in customer service, with some role play thrown in for good measure. It was a perfect way to start our week on a high note of shared insights and teamwork!

Tuesday: Lunch & Learn – AI in CX and Office Festivities 🎈

Tuesday’s Lunch & Learn was hosted by Kathleen Kilgarriff and featured CX thought leaders Paul Cox, Sean Lindsay, and Ravi Sharma. They took us on a deep dive into the world of AI in customer experience, sharing real-life examples of how Kerv is helping clients innovate with AI. The session was packed with aha moments as we saw how AI isn’t just a buzzword but a real tool for driving customer experiences and efficiency.

Of course, what’s a celebration without treats? Our offices were decked out, and the highlight was the CSW Captain Kerv cupcakes—and in our India office, team members added a twist with Kerv Charades! Who knew improving CX could be this sweet?

Wednesday: Intentional Communication Training & Office Drinks 🍻

On Wednesday, we dove into Intentional Communication with Manuela Pifani from CXellence Training. We learned how to better understand our own communication styles—and, just as importantly, how to adapt them to connect with our diverse customers. This hands-on session made us think about communication in a whole new way, and everyone walked away with some practical tools for impactful conversations.

And of course, the day wrapped up with office drinks and a CSW rainbow cake-cutting ceremony by Mike Ing, our MD, bringing a perfect close to a day of growth and connection.

Thursday: Lunch & Learn – A Day in the Life 🌎

Thursday’s Lunch & Learn, hosted by Kathleen Kilgarriff and Taylor Greenwood, spotlighted the incredible journeys of Kerv’s customer service professionals. We heard from Malathy Chandran, Vasco Fonseca, and the Customer Success Team (Stacey O’Donnell, Charlie Skinner and Sarah Woolley) as they shared their day-to-day routines, unique backgrounds, and personal approaches to making customer service at Kerv world-class. This session offered a rare chance to connect globally, swapping insights across regions and reinforcing our shared mission mixed in with some light-hearted moments.

Wrapping Up CSW: Here’s to the Customer Champions! 🏆

Customer Service Week at Kerv wasn’t just a celebration—it was an investment in our people and our customers. Every event, from the communication workshops to the treats and games, reminded us why we’re here: to serve our customers better each day. Here’s to the journey ahead, one that’s filled with learning, collaboration, and, of course, plenty of fun along the way.
