Total Processing selects Kerv as its IT Managed Service Provider

Published 08/08/23 under:

Total Processing, a rapidly growing and ambitious software business, is a leading provider of all-in-one payment solutions. Established in 2015, the company’s cutting-edge card processing technology is trusted by some of the UK’s most recognisable brands, including Total Jobs, Capital.com, and London Vision Clinic.

With almost 100 users across three countries and with ambitious expansion plans, Total Processing recognised the need of having robust IT infrastructure in place. They needed to ensure top-notch performance, maintain a high level of security, and have reliable support to propel their growth further.

A personalised approach
The journey began when Total Processing attended one of our seminars hosted at Microsoft’s London offices. Impressed by our expertise, we initiated the relationship by conducting a complimentary health check of Total Processing’s IT environment. This evaluation resulted in a roadmap designed to align with Total Processing’s business vision over the next 12-24 months.

A proactive IT partner
Total Processing selected Kerv Transform as their IT partner, awarding responsibility for providing a comprehensive Managed IT Service across the Microsoft ecosystem. This includes a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support, encompassing essential tasks like patching, bug fixes, new feature rollouts, and security alert management.

‘Driven by the concept which defined our name, Total Processing needed a Managed Service Provider who exhibits the same underpinning qualities.

One of the key areas where we demonstrated expertise was in helping Total Processing optimise its licensing by moving to Microsoft Business Premium. By leveraging existing Microsoft products within this plan, they will be able to eliminate the need for expensive third-party solutions. Among these products, we will roll out Intune, enabling centralised endpoint management of corporate devices. This will bolster security through policies, conditional access, and patch management, while also offering valuable analytics and reporting capabilities to facilitate informed decision-making.

In addition to Intune, Total Processing will benefit from the use of Microsoft Defender, enhancing its protection against various malware threats. To further strengthen their security posture, we will provide a managed security service, which involved continuous monitoring and proactive response to potential threats.

The power of Kerv
The value of partnering with Kerv extended beyond conventional IT support. Total Processing recognised Kerv as a digital transformation partner, capable of assisting in all areas of their business. Future collaborations between the two companies may include integrating Total Processing’s legacy telephony into Microsoft Teams, resolving compliance challenges, and the development of a companywide SharePoint site to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

As a business that prides itself on being customer-first, Total Processing can be completely confident that its digital transformation program is in capable hands.

Ronald DeBique, Information Security Manager at Total Processing, commented:

‘Driven by the concept which defined our name, Total Processing needed a Managed Service provider who exhibits the same underpinning qualities. If I could summarise our experience in a word, it is ‘partnership’. Kerv and its people have given us the support we needed. Starting with our initial conversation with Kerv’s Account Management Team, right through to their Service Desk team, who have guided us every step of the way.

We have secured our Microsoft ecosystem through teamwork and collaboration. Fortunately for us, Microsoft is constantly improving its service offerings, and having Kerv onboard supporting us will benefit not just Total Processing as a business, but our employees and our merchants.’

Dinah Lukasheh, Account Manager at Kerv, also commented:

“We’re thrilled to partner with Total Processing and play a pivotal part in their journey. As a business that prides itself on being customer-first, Total Processing can be completely confident that its digital transformation program is in capable hands.”
