Even the best-in-class platform is only as good as the value you actually get out of it. That’s where Kerv’s Customer Success Practice comes in. It’s designed to keep clients moving forward by joining the dots between strategy, adoption and results – growing the value of their Genesys technology long after implementation.
The heartbeat of our business
Customer Success Managers (CSMs) represent your very own champion inside Kerv. They help clients future-proof their contact centre strategy, maximise the value of IT investments and move beyond simply operating their tech to continuously improving customer experience (CX), employee experience (EX) and business outcomes.
That starts with getting to know each client properly: their priorities, their pain points, what keeps them awake at night and, importantly, where they want to be in 12 months.
Armed with that understanding, our CSMs don’t sit back and wait for a ticket to land in their inbox. They’re always looking ahead, spotting opportunities to optimise, innovate and squeeze more value out of the technology already in place.
Sometimes that means sharing exclusive insight into partner strategies – like upcoming Genesys roadmaps – so Kerv clients can plan ahead instead of scrambling to catch up. Other times, it’s putting clients in touch with the right subject matter experts across our four Practices, turning a loose idea or nagging challenge into a business case that has legs.
What a typical customer success journey involves
It usually begins with a conversation. Our discovery workshops help us understand what really matters to the client – their priorities, their challenges, where they want to get to and what needs to happen next.
From there, our CSMs help turn those ambitions into a clear, actionable roadmap, connecting technology initiatives to measurable business outcomes using a stepped transformation framework similar to the one below:

And it doesn’t stop there. Through regular roadmap sessions and business reviews, our CSMs keep progress on track, identify new opportunities and measure return on investment (ROI) — helping clients continually get more value from their technology investments.
Amplifying the voice of the customer
Guardian Financial Services take incredible pride in their award-winning, five-star customer service. So, when their previous partner relationship stopped delivering, they knew it was time for a change. A couple of years ago, they made the move to Kerv, in search of a fresher perspective and stronger technical support.
“Kerv are absolutely fantastic – without any push or hard sell – at showing us things that we didn’t know we could do to improve service and the way we work. And that’s making our lives significantly easier, not just in our contact centre but across the wider business because our Genesys platform is doing so much more now.” Mike Tamblin, Front Office Manager, Guardian Financial Services
Honest, no-nonsense conversations followed – including candid insight into what had (and hadn’t) worked for other Kerv clients – giving Guardian everything they needed to work out which CX and EX transformation recommendations would best move the needle for their business.
Since then, the partnership has blossomed and grown with regular reviews, rapid incident resolution and screen-sharing sessions that don’t just fix the immediate problem but build Guardian’s own self-service capability along the way. In addition, support cost savings provided an unexpected boost to ROI.
Celebrating passion for amazing service
Taking place annually during the first week of October, National Customer Service Week is a great opportunity to celebrate great service and the people who deliver it – and Kerv is excited to be participating for the fourth year running.
Here’s a peek into the fun, insightful and inspiring events we’ve got planned across the business:
- Tech-powered, human-enhanced
A lunch and learn all about getting the most out of Genesys Copilot, with real-world examples for Ops, customer service and other customer-facing teams.
- Service for a better society
A day to celebrate the people who make great service happen. Breakfast and sweet treats will be provided across our Richmond, Birmingham and India offices, plus the launch of our Digital Wall of Thanks and the chance to nominate a colleague for the week’s awards.
- Service culture to improve productivity
Another lunch and learn, this time facilitating honest conversations about productivity blockers, plus one simple thing everyone can start doing differently.
- Team building
Wrapping things up in style, we’ll combine Customer Service Recognition Day with our team-building activity: The Lost Elephant. This is also where our Customer Champion Awards get handed out, chosen from the nominations from Tuesday’s Digital Wall of Thanks.
Ultimately, at Kerv we appreciate that customer success is about more than technology. It’s about having a partner who stays invested in what happens next, continually looking for ways to make things better for your customers, your people and your business.
We combine AI‑powered innovation with flexible CX solutions to create customer journeys that are smarter, faster and more effortless. With deep CX expertise and technology that delivers measurable outcomes, we help organisations reduce effort, improve performance and unlock real business value.
