The 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech list has been published today, with Kerv recognised amongst the very best tech organisations in the large & super large category. The results are drawn from the anonymous answers given by Kerv employees in the Great Place to Work annual survey in January 2024.
This award is our fifth from Great Place To Work UK this year, with Kerv having also achieved the following places in the ‘large’ company category: 11th in the UK’s Best Workplaces 2024, 10th in the Best Workplaces for Development 2024, 9th in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing 2024 and 20th in the Best Workplaces for Women 2024.
Anonymous employee feedback from our latest Trust Index survey describes why people feel Kerv is a great place to work:
“People are open to working with others in different functional teams, there’s a friendliness that I have not experienced in other companies.”
“People have the autonomy to make decisions they feel are best for the business and customer. Management are very transparent with the direction and journey we’re on as a business which aids you in your daily operations to make the right choices.”
Great Place to Work analysed the responses of UK-based tech employees to determine the Best Workplaces list. The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:
- 93% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Tech say “I’m proud to tell others I work here” compared to a UK average for sector of 69%
- 87% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Tech say “I want to work here for a long time” compared to a UK average for sector of 67%
Rufus Grig, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer at Kerv, said of the achievement,
