A small number of people run communications compliance for the most heavily regulated firms in the world. Twice a year we get a useful proportion of them into one room on an invite-only basis. October’s is at the Guinness Vaults in Covent Garden.

Held under the Chatham House Rule, this event features three expert speakers who have three perspectives on the evolving world of compliance. Following this, we open the floor to discussion, networking and a tour of the Guinness Vaults for those interested.

The sessions

Three speakers, twenty-five minutes each, followed by an open floor.

The regulatory picture
Where supervisory attention is landing, how the assurance market has shifted over the past year, and which expectations are hardening into requirements.

From “maybe” to “prove it”
Kyle Ansari, CTO, Kerv
Most firms can describe their controls. Evidencing them on demand is a different exercise. Kyle looks at assurance through capture, reconciliation and configuration, and where the current tooling stops being enough.

View from inside a regulated firm
Implementation across voice, mobile and digital channels, and what they would approach differently a second time.

Compliance, surveillance and risk leaders from banks, insurers, brokers and asset managers. Places are confirmed individually and we keep the room small enough that you can speak to everyone in it. If we’re full when you ask, we’ll tell you and add you to the list for the next one.

The venue

The Guinness Vaults sit within Old Brewer’s Yard, where beer has been brewed for over 300 years and where Guinness opened its London home in December 2025. The reception runs from 4:45pm in the Vaults, with guided tours available for those who’d like one. Tour places are limited and allocated on registration.

Attendance

Places are confirmed individually. Once capacity is reached, we’ll add you to the waitlist and confirm if a place becomes available.
